This is an example page. It is different from a blog post because it stays in one place and appears in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:
Hi there! I'm a bike courier by day and an aspiring actor by night, and this is my site. I live in Los Angeles, have a lovely dog named Jack, and I love piña coladas. (And getting caught in the rain.)
...or something like this:
The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971 and has since provided quality doohickeys to the public. Based in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all sorts of fantastic things for the community in Gotham.
As a new WordPress user you can go to your dashboard go ahead and delete this page and add new pages for your content. Have fun!
